On being a lady in Tech

My back ground:

Day International Women’s:
The theme with this year’s IWD is #eachforequal. We really like this, we can expand this to include not just women, but people of all genders, races, and abilities because I think in the broader sense. There was lot to read through from the IWD web site, but my action products are these:
- I’ll be mindful of my internal dialog – therefore nearly all our biases as therefore internalized, we don’t even comprehend it. In ourselves first if we hope to encourage others to be more open and accepting, we need to recognize those biases.
- I will help ladies, girls, and individuals of most genders and abilities – perhaps my support will appear in small ways – including the #BlogItForward show?
